You’ve learned the fundamentals, now it’s time to build your confidence at the table. Our Guided Play Sessions are designed as the bridge between Mahj 101 and independent Open Play. You’ll play full games of American Mahjong with an instructor by your side to answer questions, reinforce the rules, guide you through the Charleston, and help you begin developing strategy as you play. This is where everything you learned in Mahj 101 starts to click. With hands-on guidance and plenty of play, you’ll become more comfortable reading the card, making decisions, and navigating the game independently. After a few guided play sessions, our goal is simple: for you to feel confident taking your seat at an Open Play table. More experienced player? Depending on registration numbers and cancellations, it is possible that players may be paired up or tables may be required to play with less than 4 players.
