Oct. 13 Mahj 101 Beginner Lesson at Atelier Modern

We’re excited to bring Mahj Atelier to a beautiful new home in Larchmont! Ready to learn Mahjong? Mahj 101 is the perfect place to start. Join Mahj Atelier at Atelier Modern in Larchmont, a unique setting that blends art, design, and effortless style. In this fun, approachable beginner lesson, you’ll learn the fundamentals of American Mahjong from the ground up. We’ll walk you through the game step by step, and by the end of the lesson, you’ll be putting it all together and playing your first game of Mahjong with confidence. All Mahjong tile sets, racks, mats, and accessories will be provided. We highly recommend also registering for a Guided Play Session the following week. Mahj 101 teaches you how to play, while Guided Play gives you the opportunity to put it all into practice with an instructor by your side. It’s the best way to build confidence, ask questions as you play, and become ready for independent Open Play. (Select Guided Play 102 on Oct 20th as an add on at checkout.) Start with Mahj 101. Continue with Guided Play 102. Then take your seat at the table. More experienced player? Mahj Atelier is also hosting Open Play at Atelier Modern, please register here: https://mahj-atelier.bamgoodtime.com/?type=open_play#events
